Book a Ride (Uber / Ola / Rapido)
Ride-hailing apps are fully operational and highly reliable in Hyderabad. For auto-rickshaws, you can also use Rapido.
From the Airport
Rajiv Gandhi Int. (HYD)
- SIT Hyderabad is located extremely close to the airport.
- Best Option: Book an Airport Prepaid Taxi (Meru/SkyCabs) at the arrival lounge.
- Alternatively, use the dedicated Uber/Ola pickup points right outside arrivals.
From Secunderabad
Secunderabad Jnc (SC)
- Direct Cab: Book Ola/Uber from the station exit. Request the PVNR Expressway route for a smoother ride.
- Metro Alternative: Take Metro from Secunderabad East to MGBS, switch to Falaknuma line, then book a short cab to the venue.
From Nampally
Hyderabad Deccan (HYB)
- Located centrally in the city. Access to the venue is relatively straightforward.
- Best Option: Walk out to the main road and book an Uber/Ola.
- The route via the PVNR Expressway is highly recommended to skip city traffic.
From Kacheguda
Kacheguda Rly (KCG)
- Connects southern and central India, closer to the old city side.
- Best Option: Book an Uber or Ola directly.
- The route via Chandrayangutta and Srisailam Highway/Airport road is generally fastest.
By Intercity Bus / Driving
MGBS & Local Roads
Arriving at MGBS (Bus Station):
If you arrive via Volvo buses (TSRTC, RedBus), drop at Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station. Distance is ~25 km. Direct cabs are easily available outside. Travel time is around 45 mins.
Driving Personal Car:
Take the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and take Exit 14 or 15 (Shamshabad / Tukkuguda). Navigate towards Bangalore Highway/Mamidipally. The campus provides ample secure parking.
